LncRNA MALAT1 knockdown alleviates myocardial apoptosis in rats with myocardial ischemia-reperfusion through activating PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.
CONCLUSIONS: The MALAT1 knockdown can markedly improve the I/R-induced myocardial injury and promote the cardiac function of rats, whose mechanism may be related to the activation of the AKT signaling pathway by MALAT1 siRNA. Therefore, lncRNA MALAT1 is expected to be a new therapeutic target for myocardial I/R injury. PMID: 31841208 [PubMed - in process]

Regulation of Lnc-NTF3-5 on islet β-cell dysfunction in high glucose environment and related mechanisms.
CONCLUSIONS: Lnc-NTF3-5 expression is increased in high glucose environment. Targeting Lnc-NTF3-5 can inhibit islet cell apoptosis, oxidative stress, and promote islet cell proliferation and insulin secretion. PMID: 31841205 [PubMed - in process]

Influence of lncRNA ANRIL on neuronal apoptosis in rats with cerebral infarction by regulating the NF- κB signaling pathway.
CONCLUSIONS: The inhibitory effect of lncRNA ANRIL knockdown on neuronal apoptosis in CI rats may be probably related to its inhibition of the NF-κB signaling pathway. Furthermore, lncRNA ANRIL inhibitor is expected to become a targeted drug in the clinical treatment of CI. PMID: 31799680 [PubMed - in process]

Long non-coding RNA LINC00152 is up-regulated in ovarian cancer tissues and regulates proliferation and cell cycle of SKOV3 cells.
CONCLUSIONS: LINC00152 is upregulated in epithelial ovarian cancer tissues comparing to normal tissues. Knockdown of LINC00152 expression inhibits cell proliferation and induces cell cycle arrest.
