CircRNA 010567 improves myocardial infarction rats through inhibiting TGF- β1.
CONCLUSIONS: CircRNA 010567 siRNA can improve the cardiac function, alleviate the MF, and inhibit the myocardial apoptosis, thereby further suppressing MI-induced MF, whose mechanism may be related to the inhibition on the TGF-β1 signaling pathway. PMID: 31957851 [PubMed - in process]

Dysregulation of microRNA-770-5p influences pancreatic- β-cell function by targeting TP53 regulated inhibitor of apoptosis 1 in gestational diabetes mellitus.
CONCLUSIONS: The data demonstrated that miR-770-5p was a vital regulator in pancreatic β-cell proliferation, apoptosis and insulin secretion by targeting TRIAP1, and dysregulation of miR-770-5p resulted in the development of GDM via APAF1 signaling pathway. PMID: 32016984 [PubMed - in process]

Effects of homeodomain-interacting protein kinase 2 on renal tubular epithelial cells.
CONCLUSIONS: Inhibition of HIPK2 expression can promote H/R-induced proliferation of NRK-52E cells through the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway, relieve the OS response, and reduce apoptosis. PMID: 32572889 [PubMed - in process]

Astaxanthin protecting myocardial cells from hypoxia/reoxygenation injury by regulating miR-138/HIF-1 α axis.
CONCLUSIONS: AST can exert a protective function in myocardial cells via regulating the expression of miR-138/HIF-1α axis. PMID: 32744699 [PubMed - in process]

LncRNA UCA1 regulates cervical cancer survival and EMT occurrence by targeting miR-155.
CONCLUSIONS: UCA1 expression in cervical cancer is increased and related to patient survival and miR-155 expression is reduced. Lnc-RNA UCA1 regulates EMT occurrence in cervical cancer cells by targeting miR-155. PMID: 33090390 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Effect of TLR7 gene expression mediating NF- κB signaling pathway on the pathogenesis of bronchial asthma in mice and the intervention role of IFN-γ.
CONCLUSIONS: Upregulation of TLR7 can inhibit the activation of NF-κB signaling pathway, reduces airway inflammation, inhibits ASMCS proliferation and thus promotes cell apoptosis in asthmatic mice. Besides, IFN-γ can exert a protective role in suppressing the progression of inflammation in asthma. PMID: 33577041 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Cyclin I promotes cisplatin resistance via Cdk5 activation in cervical cancer.
CONCLUSIONS: These data suggest that a cyclin I-Cdk5 complex forms a critical antiapoptotic factor in the process of generating cisplatin resistance in cervical cancer. PMID: 26698249 [PubMed - in process]

Clinical significance of sCIP2A levels in breast cancer.
CONCLUSIONS: Our results suggest that serum CIP2A is significantly higher in patients with breast cancer, which is a potential biomarker to make a distinction between breast cancer patients and healthy controls. Higher serum CIP2A levels positively associated with the aggressive phenotype of breast cancer, and forecasts poor prognosis for patients with breast cancer. Knockdown of CIP2A may be a novel target for prevention and treatment of breast cancer. PMID: 26813457 [PubMed - in process]

Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma progression is associated with the NFκB signaling pathway regulated by IκB kinase β.
CONCLUSIONS:  The NFκB signaling pathway involved TNFR1, IKK-β, and FADD is significantly associated with the development of LSCC. Over-expressed IKK-β efficiently inhibits cell apoptosis and has positive effects on cell proliferation and migration. PMID: 26914121 [PubMed - in process]
