Bismuth, esomeprazole, metronidazole, and minocycline or tetracycline as a first-line regimen for Helicobacter pylori eradication: A randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSION: The eradication efficacy of minocycline-containing BQT was noninferior to tetracycline-containing BQT as first-line regimen for H. pylori eradication with similar safety and compliance.TRIAL REGISTRATION: ClinicalTrials.gov, ChiCTR 1900023646.PMID:37010246 | DOI:10.1097/CM9.0000000000002629

Serotypes and antimicrobial resistance of < em > Streptococcus pneumoniae < /em > in children under 5 years of age pre- and post-pneumococcal conjugate vaccine introduction in Paraguay
Conclusion. A change in the circulating serotypes and antimicrobial resistance to certain antibiotics was observed. Non-vaccine serotype circulation and multidrug resistance may compromise the success of the conjugate vaccines.PMID:37289483 | DOI:10.1099/jmm.0.001700

In vitro evaluation of BMSCs early proliferation on minocycline-loaded electrospun nanofibers membrane
CONCLUSION: This study shows that by controlling the concentration and release rate of MINO with electrospinning PLA, BMSCs could proliferate on it, and a new bone repair material had been made in this study.PMID:37545205 | DOI:10.3233/BME-230002

The characterisation of antimicrobial resistant < em > Escherichia coli < /em > from dairy calves
Conclusion. Our study identified a high incidence of tetracycline and streptomycin-resistant E. coli in dairy calves, and highlighted the presence of multidrug-resistant strains, emphasising the need for further investigation into potential associations with farm management practices.PMID:37578342 | DOI:10.1099/jmm.0.001742
