Characterizing Intraoperative Vasopressor Use in Total Knee Arthroplasty: A Retrospective Cohort Study
In conclusion, nearly 59% of patients undergoing TKA received intraoperative vasopressor support. History of stroke and older age were significantly associated with increased intraoperative vasopressor use. E-105 Analysis of clinical associations of serum SCFAs taken at the time of thrombectomy in AIS patients
ConclusionsThe evaluation of SCFAs in the serum at the time of stroke provides novel insight into the potential role of SCFAs during stroke in human patients. Age remains a significant factor to SCFA concentrations in stroke patients. The length of time following stroke also contributes to the levels of SCFAs. Previous studies have shown that increased levels of SCFAs is associated with decreased severity of stroke, however our data did not detect any such effect. O-032 Treatment outcomes for ARUBA eligible brain arteriovenous malformations: a comparison of real world data from the NVQI-QOD AVM registry to the ARUBA trial
ConclusionARUBA eligible patients from the NVQI-QOD registry demonstrate a significantly lower risk of stroke or death with intervention of 8.0% (N=174) compared to the 30.7% (N=114) ARUBA trial interventional risk, and is nearly equivalent to the ARUBA trial medical management risk of 10.1% (N=109) over 33 months.Disclosures N. This article reviews advanced statistical techniques for measuring impairments in object naming, particularly in the context of stroke-induced aphasia. Traditional testing strategies can be challenged by the multifaceted nature of impairments that arise due to the complex relationships between localized brain damage and disruption to the cognitive processes required for successful object naming.
