Prognostic prediction of thrombolytic therapy with rt-PA in acute ischemic stroke patients using an artificial intelligence model
CONCLUSIONS: ANN model is as effective as a logistic regression model in predicting the prognosis of AIS after thrombolytic therapy with rt-PA. Moreover, ANN is slightly superior to logistic regression in accuracy, precision and F1 score.PMID:37560207 | PMC:PMC10408517

Development of a decision analytic model to support decision making and risk communication about thrombolytic treatment
Conclusions: We have produced a DAM that provides an estimation of the likely benefits and risks of thrombolysis for individual patients, which has subsequently been embedded in a computerised decision aid to support better decision-making and informed consent.

Homocysteine-lowering therapy and early functional outcomes of ischemic patients with H-type hypertension: a retrospective analysis of CNSR
This study evaluated the effects of HLT during hospitalization on the early outcomes of the 792 ischemic stroke patients with H-type hypertension from the China National Stroke Registry. The subjects were divided into HLT and non-HLT groups. Demographic and laboratory information were collected, while the functional outcome at discharge and at 90 days follow-up were assessed by National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale and modified Rankin Scale (mRS) in both groups. ConclusionReperfusion is the major predictor of functional outcome in BAO in clinical practice. Failed recanalization resulted in a  13-fold increase of the risk of poor outcome. Successful recanalization is crucial to achieve a better functional outcome in BAO.

ConclusionsIn conclusion, cognitive impairment frequently precedes ICH. A higher frequency of cerebrovascular events suggests a role of vascular processes in the development of cognitive impairment before ICH.
