Neuroprotective Effects of Pre-Ischemic Exercise are linked to Expression of NT-3/NT-4 and TrkB/TrkC in Rats
CONCLUSION: The findings showed that pre-ischemic exercise can exert neuroprotective effectsvia NT-3 and NT-4 pathways against ischemia in hippocampal CA1 neurons and promote post-injury sensorimotor recovery.PMID:36646145 | DOI:10.1016/j.brainresbull.2023.01.004

Cortical hemodynamic response during cognitive Stroop test in acute stroke patients assessed by fNIRS
CONCLUSIONS: AIS patients had impaired executive function assessed by the SCWT, while both groups showed an inverse hemodynamic response significantly larger in HC. Investigations assessing the physiology behind inverse hemodynamic responses are warranted before deeming clinical implementation reasonable.PMID:36641686 | DOI:10.3233/NRE-220171
