Clipping of a Rebleeding Ruptured Aneurysm After Woven EndoBridge Treatment
CONCLUSION: As a conclusion, re-bleeding can be seen after aneurysm treatment with the Web device. If it is planned to re-close the aneurysm treated with the web device with a surgical clip, the pressure created by the device against the vessel can be reduced with the additional clip.PMID:37715605 | DOI:10.5137/1019-5149.JTN.41381-22.2

Life-threatening gastrointestinal bleeding caused by perforation of a penetrating atherosclerotic ulcer into the esophagus
We present a case of life-threatening gastrointestinal bleeding caused by a penetrating atherosclerotic ulcer (PAU) that ruptured into the esophagus. A 65-year-old man presented with pyrexia and nausea. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) performed on admission revealed a hematoma between the lower esophagus and descending aorta due to a contained rupture of a PAU, which was undiagnosed at that time. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) performed on the fifth day of admission revealed a subepithelial lesion in the lower esophagus, further complicated by ulcer formation. Biopsy did not reveal any malignant findings. On t...

A Rare Case of Pseudo-Malignant Paranasal Extranodal Rosai-Dorfman Disease
We report a rare pseudo-malignant paranasal extranodal Rosai-Dorfman disease. A 69-year-old-man presented nasal bleeding and nasal obstruction. Paranasal mass was detected in the left nasal cavity and computed tomography (CT) findings are the sphenoid sinus, maxillary sinus, and ethmoid sinus were involved with inconstant bone thickening, however, no bone destruction was detected. Magnetic resonance imaging scans show iso-intensity signal in T1-weighed image and T2-weighed image. Positron emission tomography/CT fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake in posterior ethmoid sinus and sphenoid sinus, bilateral cervical lymph node, cla...

Evaluating and Comparing the Effectiveness of Nano-HA and HA + β-TCP with A-PRF Clinically and Radiographically in the Treatment of Human Infrabony Defects
CONCLUSION: At 6-month post-surgery, both treatment modalities demonstrated statistically significant improvements with regard to CAL gains, PPD reduction, and reduction in radiographic defect depth.CLINICAL RELEVANCE: The NcHA and HA + β-TCP with A-PRF is a novel material used in the treatment of infrabony defect for periodontal regeneration. The NcHA and HA + β-TCP with A-PRF need to consider biomaterials for bone defect fill.PMID:37622630 | DOI:10.5005/jp-journals-10024-3534
