The association between intraoperative fluid management and perioperative allogenic blood transfusion during adolescent idiopathic scoliosis surgery
CONCLUSION: These results indicate a statistical association between the increase in crystalloid intake and the risk of allogenic blood transfusion during surgical correction of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Comparison of eversion carotid endarterectomy under local anesthesia and eversion/conventional carotid endarterectomy under general anesthesia
CONCLUSIONS: The mean operation time, postoperative in-hospital stay, overall in-hospital stay, and need for shunting were lower in patients who underwent E-CEA under local anesthesia.
