Direct Oral Anticoagulants and Mortality in Atrial Fibrillation
ConclusionsIn this cohort of newly diagnosed NVAF patients treated in routine clinical practice, DOAC therapy was associated with a lower risk for death compared to no oral anticoagulation. Use of oral anticoagulation therapy in the first 3 months after the diagnosis of atrial fibrillation in Israel: a population ‐based study
ConclusionIn this real world, population ‐based cohort of patients with newly diagnosed AF, we found a lower than expected rate of OAC prescription within 3 months of diagnosis but an encouraging increase in OAC purchasing over time. Novel bleeding prediction model in atrial fibrillation patients on new oral anticoagulants
Conclusions We present a novel and simple risk score for prediction of major bleeding in patients with non-valvular AF treated with NOACs. Validation in additional cohorts is warranted.
