AbstractPurpose of ReviewTo analyze and compare the effects of herbal medicines (HMs) for treating different forms of rhinosinusitis.Recent FindingsForty-seven randomized controlled trials evaluating 18 HMs in six different rhinosinusitis populations were included in the network meta-analysis. Certainty of evidence was assessed using the Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) approach. Evaluation of a novel natural drop for treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis without nasal polyps: a single blind randomized trial
ConclusionA P. anisum–based herbal medicine may be an effective treatment for sinusitis without polyps. However, its wide acceptance needs further investigation.
