Announcements: JIDC temporarily not accepting new submissions
Due to the overwhelming amount of articles received recently, the JIDC is suspending the evaluation of new submission.Accessing the [New Submission] link will return a permission error for all authors up until February 15, 2022.The editors sincerely apologize for the incovenient, but at the moment the amount of papers in the active queue is too much of a workload for our small team. At the moment, we have observed users connecting from countries with restricted internet access can't register on the journal site, getting an error stating "You must complete the validation check used to prevent spam submissions."We are aware of the problem, which is due to the state firewalls, preventing connections to certain Google servers, where the CAPTCHA system is hosted.In such case,interested users are encouraged to send an email to support@jidc.org, containing their details,so we can manually add you to the site. News: Welcome to the new JIDC site
As you can see, the Journal of Infection in Developing Countries is online with a new website.A completely redesigned backend is now available for all users, making the editing process smoother, and lowering (when not zero-ing) the need for back and forth emails.We made the effort to provide our users with a more modern, mobile-first interface, and to be able to index our work in more directories and repositories for preservation.More news will be coming soon, to keep you up to date with new functions as they will be available.
