Announcements: Donate through JIDC to Support COVID-19 fight at Sassari University Hospital

Dear Colleagues and Friends,as you know during the past 12 years the Journal has been constantly working day by day to support researchers and Institutions around the world, mostly from low-income research settings, to facilitate the writing and publishing of their scientific findings. The Journal is a non profit organization strongly linked to Sassari University in Sardinia, Italy, operating on a voluntary basis and most of the staff members, founders and Editors are living and operating within Italian Institutions, bearing at this moment the enormous burden of fighting against the Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak. Two days ago the representatives of the Chinese Community in Sassari gave the first donation to the University Hospital, which has been used to purchase a new piece of equipment to speed up the detection of positive cases. For these reasons the Editorial Board has decided to launch a Donation Campaign to raise money to be used immediately for the purchase of supplies and equipment to scale up research and clinical activities at Sassari University Hospital, where new positive cases are being detected every day. Please donate through the Journal homepage: www.jidc.org clicking on Donate or contact us at billing@jidc.org
