i need some guidance in field of podiatry
i am a MBBS dergree holder residing in Mauritius and I'm completing my internship to get my registration at the medical council of Mauritius itself. After that, I wish to specialize in podiatry. Do I have to start anew to become podiatrist or is it possible to specialize as DPM with background MBBS? if possible where (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Am I an URM? (medical school)
Planning on applying next cycle and I was wondering if I will be considered a URM, I was born in Africa, with Mauritian roots (my ancestors were there since the early 1800s), however I am not black neither do I know if any of my ancestors were mixed with Black or not. Is African considered a URM?

Elective to Mauritius
Hi,
I'm a Swedish med student planning to go to Mauritius for an internship of around 2 weeks. I need help arranging a place and finding a superwisor, preferably at the Victoria hospital, but other hospitals will do too. Has anyone been on an elective to Mauritius?
