Experimental study of a canine model for a newly designed adjustable prefenestration aortic stent graft
CONCLUSION: Based on the results of this study, we judge the safety and feasibility of the use of the newly designed adjustable prefenestration aortic stent graft in a fenestrated-TEVAR canine model to be acceptable. Our preliminary data may provide a first reference for evaluating the new stent's potential use in humans.PMID:38293845 | DOI:10.4274/dir.2023.232440 (Source: Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology)

Follow-up results of BI-RADS 3 lesions on magnetic resonance imaging: a retrospective study
CONCLUSION: The malignancy rate in BI-RADS 3 lesions detected by MRI is low and falls within the accepted cancer rate for MG and sonography. Changes in size, morphology, and enhancement pattern should be considered in terms of malignancy development during follow-up. The follow-up intervals should be determined on a case-by-case basis.PMID:38293846 | DOI:10.4274/dir.2023.232393 (Source: Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology)

Correlation between computed tomography-based body composition parameters and hepatic venous pressure gradient in patients with cirrhosis: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: No sufficient evidence regarding a correlation between the CT-based body composition and HVPG value was discovered. The difference in the HVPG value between the sarcopenia and non-sarcopenia groups was likely dependent on the sarcopenic cut-off value.PMID:38293897 | DOI:10.4274/dir.2023.232553 (Source: Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology)

Effect of lipiodol marking before CT-guided cryoablation on the outcome of sporadic renal cell carcinoma
CONCLUSION: Lipiodol marking before CT-guided cryoablation for sporadic RCC is a feasible approach to improving local control and RFS while mitigating the decline in renal function. Additionally, it may help reduce complications.PMID:38164892 | DOI:10.4274/dir.2023.232381 (Source: Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology)
