Influence of image preprocessing on the segmentation-based reproducibility of radiomic features: < em > in vivo < /em > experiments on discretization and resampling parameters
CONCLUSION: The segmentation-based reproducibility of radiomic features appears to be substantially influenced by discretization and resampling parameters. Our findings indicate that the bin width method should be used for discretization and lower bin width and higher resampling values should be used to allow more reproducible features.PMID:38073244 | DOI:10.4274/dir.2023.232543 (Source: Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology)

Sonographic cortical bone thickness measurement: can it predict bone mineral density in the pediatric population?
CONCLUSION: Sonographic CoT values in children do not correlate with BMD values. Unlike in adults, sonographic CoT measurements do not appear to have a role in assessing BMD in the pediatric population.PMID:38044613 | DOI:10.4274/dir.2023.232392 (Source: Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology)

Focal fatty sparing areas of the pediatric steatotic liver: pseudolesions on hepatobiliary phase magnetic resonance images
CONCLUSION: Focal fatty sparing in liver in children was observed as hyperintense on hepatobiliary phase MRI, and it should not be identified as a focal liver lesion.PMID:38032244 | DOI:10.4274/dir.2023.232447 (Source: Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology)
