It’s labiaplasty (also called labioplasty), one of the most popular procedures that I perform. This surgery has increased in popularity by 44%.Over the past few years women of all ages have become more concerned with the appearance of their genital area. Valerie Arkoosh, MD – Candidate for Congress (Part 2 of 3)
Dr. Val Arkoosh is an Anesthesiologist by training and a current candidate for Congress in the Pennsylvania 13th Congressional District. You might remember that Allegheny opened this hospital for women. It was PCOM’s old hospital on City Ave. And they opened it up and reconfigured I to be a hospital for women. So they moved all the OB GYN, gyn onc ,brea...

Nipple Delay Surgery
Angelina Jolie recently shared her BRCA+ diagnosis and brave decision to undergo prophylactic nipple-sparing mastectomy and immediate breast reconstruction. As part of her surgery, she underwent a nipple delay procedure. So what is a "nipple delay"?Most patients do not need a delay procedure. It's actually performed quite rarely. Doctors' Dubious Excuses for Taking Pharmaceutical Companies' Money
This report, and its recommendations have gotten scant attention, maybe because they would threaten a status quo that enriches conflicted health professionals and the companies that create these conflicts.  However, in my humble opinion, implementing all the report's recommendations would only be a beginning down the road of restoring the integrity of clinical care, teaching, and research.   (Source: Health Care Renewal)
