Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) infection is associated with an increased morbidity and poor prognosis in children with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). P028 Cystic fibrosis mutation pattern in 2019 in Albania: getting closer to the personalised therapy
Introduction: Cystic Fibrosis (CF), is an autosomal recessive multisystem disease, caused by mutations in the CFTR gene. The knowledge of CFTR mutations is important not only for building a simple, cost-effective genetic testing approach but also for better treatment of CF patients, including the administration of novel targeted therapies.
