Orthopoxvirus Infections (Including Smallpox and Monkeypox)

Contains information on orthopoxviruses, which are a genus of DNA viruses that infect humans and animals. The most well known member is variola virus, which causes smallpox. Also contains information on monkeypox virus which is endemic in parts of Africa and has caused several outbreaks around the world.
