A psychologist's experience of the "clinician's illusion" in the face of familial mental illness.

This first-person account focuses on the experiences of a prosumer living through the challenges of familial mental illness and addiction. The “clinician’s illusion” is used to help explain feelings of shame, frustration, anger and hopelessness, particularly within the context of a broken mental health care system.
