Charge-transfer complexes of arylthiotetrathiafulvalenes and TCNQF 4 : their structural diversity and electronic states

Longfei Ma, Congjie Pan Charge-transfer (CT) complexes formed between Ar-S-TTFs and TCNQF4 are investigated. It is found that the complexes show different degrees of charge transfer and the stacking structures of the CT complexes can be manipulated by varying the symmetry and size of the aryl groups on the Ar-S-TTF.
