Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) and sleeve gastrectomy (SG) are the two most performed bariatric procedures. Multiple studies have investigated the metabolic bone complications after bariatric surgery but there is paucity of data comparing bone health after RYGB and SG.
