Basically, I am doing Bio Psych Econ A*AA predicted for year 13. I considered taking Chemistry as a 4th A level during year 13 (as I was going to do a gap year anyway, I would be finished by the end of it) but this would mean I have to drop biology back to year 12 at my school so it fits with the option blocks. This effectively means I only come out with 2 A levels (Econ psych) at y13 and the other 2 (Bio Chem) in y14.
Concerning admissions would this mean I'm considered a resit student (biology AS) and what else should I be concerned about? After talking to my teachers I'm likely not going to do this since I can still apply to a good amount of medicine courses without chemistry anyway, but I would like more flexibility with my choices and I should be fine with the additional workload.
