Evaluation of quality of life in diabetic pregnant women
Gestational diabetes is a degree of glucose intolerance that is the most common metabolic complication of pregnancy and is diagnosed in the second or third trimester of pregnancy, which is not obvious before pregnancy [1]. Approximately 7% of pregnancies lead to gestational diabetes (range 2 –18%) [1–3]. Worldwide, different reports of the prevalence of gestational diabetes from 1% to 14% have been reported in different studies, and 1.3%–18.8% in Iran based on the results of some studies [4]. In general, the prevalence of gestational diabetes is increasing worldwide, with obesity and the increasing age of pregnant mothers [5,6].
