ConclusionThe amount and the type of dentifrice used by children were influenced by their age, while parents/caregivers ’ interpretation on verbal instructions regarding appropriate dentifrice quantities varied widely. This reinforces the need for educative measures on the appropriate use by dentifrices by children.
