Examining different outcome measures for reliability in assessing the impact of cataract surgery in quality of health

CONCLUSIONS: There is a possibility that gains in QoL plateau after a certain level of visual acuity improvement. While improvement can be detected with a general health QoL measure, this measure may require additional psychometric validation to the particular population beforehand. Otherwise, a combination of vision-specific outcome measures will provide the most reliable estimate.PMID:34514886 | DOI:10.1177/11206721211045869
