I am hoping to apply to UCL for medicine but I'm not sure if my EPQ grade will disadvantage me. I got a C- I'm not sure how many marks off the next grade it was- and if it is worth appealing and getting it remarked. I'm not sure where I even went wrong as the teacher running it has left.
I know UCL state that they do like candidates to do the EPQ on their website, so I'm unsure how much importance they give to it. If I have evidence of other independent study; MOOCS wider reading etc, high GCSE (9A*, 1A) and predicted grades and high BMAT scores would it still be possible to get an offer?
I have mentioned my EPQ on my personal statement as it is kind of related to medicine.
Will the grade disadvantage me from any other universities?
TIA!!
