B-po04-053 anticoagulation guided by long-term ecg monitoring using an implantable loop recorder following cryoballoon pulmonary vein isolation in patients with atrial fibrillation

Cryoballoon (CB) pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) is used in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Current clinical guidelines recommend continued oral anticoagulation (OAC) in patients (pts) at a high risk of stroke, irrespective of ablation outcome. However, these guidelines do not account for our ability to objectively monitor pts for AF recurrence post-ablation.
