Lachesis mutus and Calendula officinalis Q in Diabetic Foot Ulcer Treatment –Two Case Reports

Most cases of diabetes mellitus have multiple comorbidities which add more difficulty in ulcer management. The chances of complete wound healing are low even after amputation, which may be required in >15% of patients with diabetic ulcer. Furthermore, it leaves behind mental, physical and financial burden to people. In this case report, two cases of diabetic foot ulcers are presented, one with bipolar affective disorder and the other one with his toes amputated, which were treated with homoeopathic medicines Lachesis mutus and Calendula officinalis Q along with standard care in an inpatient department facility.
