Comment on: Bariatric surgery in patients with previous COVID-19 infection; should we routinely perform preoperative chest- CT with ventilation/perfusion scintigraphy?
We have read with great interest this interesting and timely paper1. Although we share authors ’ conclusions, 4 weeks interval between the infection and bariatric surgery is probably not safe. Hereby we report 2 cases of unexpected and asymptomatic pulmonary abnormalities discovered during the preoperative assessment of patients with recent infection of Sars-Cov-2.
