Business of Pride: Dr. Richard McCarthy

When I was a little kid, I had really bad asthma. I basically couldn ’t breathe. It was before inhalers. I had a great doctor who was my allergist. I was always really inspired by him, I wanted to be like him. That translated into becoming a physician. My goal in life was to be an academic neuromuscular specialist in the San Francisco Bay area.
