A Simple Method of Transoperative Maxillomandibular Fixation in Pediatric Facial Fractures

This article presents a case of a 9-year-old female patient with a displaced mandibular fracture in which orthodontic buttons were used for transoperative maxillomandibular fixation followed by internal fixation after adequate occlusion reestablishment and fracture reduction. The method showed high efficacy and celerity, allowing the success of treatment, with satisfactory evolution of the patient.
