Association of Timing of Electrocardiogram Acquisition After Return of Spontaneous Circulation With Coronary Angiography Findings in Patients With Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest

Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is one of the leading causes of death worldwide and electrocardiogram (ECG) is an important determinant of management after return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC). Immediate coronary angiography is recommended in patients whose ECG demonstrates ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Guidelines recommend acquiring an ECG as soon as possible after ROSC, however they do not specify the best time to do so.
