Prostaglandin agonist effect on matrix metalloproteinase aqueous levels in glaucoma patients.

CONCLUSIONS: The levels of MMP-2 and -9 in aqueous of glaucomatous eyes on topical prostaglandin analogues were the same as those of normal age-matched control patients. This could reflect either a return to normal levels with efficacious treatment or a lack of difference between disease and nondisease states. PMID: 25677276 [PubMed - in process]
