Intranasal levels of lead as an exacerbation factor for allergic rhinitis in humans and mice

An increased nasal level of lead partially derived from pollen may exacerbate allergic rhinitis in humans and mice. Thus, a novel association between pollinosis and an air pollutant (lead) was shown.
