Opioid Overdose Prevention Training for Health Care Teams in Underserved Communities
This report focuses on advanced practice nurses ’ efforts to provide opioid education and naloxone training to a network of primary care clinics in underserved communities surrounding downtown Chicago. Postsurvey data revealed positive results, showing an increased awareness regarding the opioid crisis and naloxone administration.
