Should We Keep Telling Dad that He Has Alzheimer's?

Photo credit Tessa Rampersad Dear Carol: My dad, 79, was getting confused about normal things around his house, so when COVID began in March, we convinced him to move in with us. We gave him a bedroom/bathroom suite and it worked fine for a time, but his cognition is deteriorating badly. His doctor diagnosed him with Alzheimer’s, and he’s had some medications, but they haven’t helped.
