Cochrane Germany vs. COVID-19: Working together to share research evidence

During the COVID-19 pandemic,Cochrane Germany wanted to build partnerships to share the best available evidence with as many people as possible, and make the findings from Cochrane systematic reviews accessible to German-speaking audiences.Cochrane achieved their goals in several ways.   They highlighted evidence and resources on their website and developed COVID-19 related blogs in partnership withCochrane Switzerland andCochrane Austria. They disseminated COVID-19 press releases to journalists, and partnered with the associated Institute of Evidence in Medicine (IfEM) at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg to create and coordinate a pool of pre-assessed studies and to produce continuously updated ‘living’ evidence syntheses and guidelines.Read more about the success of Cochrane Germany during the COVID-109 pandemic in this short case story.Friday, December 18, 2020
