Intraoperative monitoring of the facial nerve during parotid gland surgery in Otolaryngology services - Head and Neck Surgery.
CONCLUSION: Our data demonstrate that most otolaryngologists in Spain use intraoperative facial nerve monitoring during parotid gland surgery. Almost all of them use it to improve patient safety and consider that facial nerve monitoring should be helpful preventing inadvertent injury.
