Glycemic control rate of type 2 diabetes mellitus in Chinese adults: a multi-centered, retrospective, cross-sectional study

ConclusionsIn China, only 23.0% of T2DM patients achieved adequate glycemic control target (both fasting blood glucose< 7.0 mmol/L and HbA1c< 7.0%). Glycemic control should be strengthened for T2DM patients with longer duration, admitting to secondary hospitals, and living in the southern and undeveloped regions.
