The cost-effectiveness of ambulatory hospitalization (AH) for the endovascular treatment of peripheral occlusive arterial disease (POAD) is not established. AMBUVASC was a randomized study comparing the cost-effectiveness of AH with conventional hospitalization (CH) for the endovascular management of POAD with a societal perspective.
