Vulnerability in childhood: a public health report

These two reports from Public Health England are aimed at local government and their partners to inform their co-ordinated approaches to reduce vulnerability and adversity in childhood. A public health informed approach looks at the factors for individual children, their families and the communities in which they live that make it more or less likely that vulnerability and adversity in childhood has a lasting impact on their lives. This holistic, multi-agency approach addresses inequality and the broader causes of vulnerability that might otherwise be overlooked.
