In Familial ALS, Antisense Agent Reduces Disease-Related Proteins

An investigational antisense oligonucleotide drug improved cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) levels of the protein responsible for up to a fifth of familial amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) cases among people of European origin, researchers reported in the New England Journal of Medicine.
