A large room-temperature entropy change in a new hybrid ferroelastic with an unconventional bond-switching mechanism. Chem Commun (Camb). 2020 Jul 30;: Authors: Xu WJ, Zeng Y, Yuan W, Zhang WX, Chen XM Abstract We showed a reversible bond-switching ferroelastic phase transition at near room temperature in a novel organic-inorganic hybrid, (Me3NNH2)2[Co(CN)6Na(H2O)], to afford a latent heat of 43.7 kJ kg-1 and a large entropy change of 146 J K-1 kg-1.
