Hawaii receives $3.3M in federal funds to aid against infectious outbreaks
Hawaii is set to receive more than $3.3 million in federal funds to help the state prevent and respond to future outbreaks of infectious diseases, officials announced Monday.
The disbursement of $3,340,633 will be allotted to the state Department of Health where they will be able to use it to prepare for and mitigate disease outbreaks, including the current Covid-19 outbreak.
