Dr Andreas Schr öder talks to Dr Steven Moylan about the prevalence of functional somatic syndromes and the issues that currently exist with their diagnosis and treatment. He discusses the results of his recently published study, which indicate that a cognitive-behavioural group treatment is effective in the manag ement of such syndromes.
