Self-limiting sternal tumors of childhood (SELSTOC): a diagnostic challenge.

CONCLUSION: Radiologists and pediatricians must be aware of this entity and the different diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to rapidly growing sternal lesions in pediatric patients because recognizing SELSTOC can avoid unnecessary diagnostic tests and/or disproportionate therapeutic strategies.
