New optical biosensor system may help round-the-clock management of gout

(Texas A&M University) In a recent article published in the February issue of the journal sensors, researchers at Texas A&M University have reported a technology that might help people with gout disease monitor their symptoms better. They said their minimally invasive biosensor system may hold the key to future point-of-care therapies centered around personal management of gout, and possibly other conditions.
