Recently introduced legislation aims to simplify the Medicare Part D Rx benefit and create an annual out-of-pocket spending limit. Researchers analyzed the impact of these bills on insulin affordability and say the proposals’ impact on insulin patients’ costs will depend on each Part D plan’s particular benefit design.
