Gastroenterological (GI) symptoms are often reported by adults with endometriosis, leading to unnecessary diagnostic tests or complicated treatment. We investigated associations between endometriosis and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in adolescents and whether concurrent pain disorders affect these.
