Annual Report to the Nation: Cancer Death Rates Continue to Decline

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published their Annual Report to the Nation on the Status of Cancer and found that cancer death rates decreased between 2001 and 2017. Researchers also found that all Healthy People 2020 targets for reducing death rates were met for all cancers, but identified that breast cancer screening rates dropped slightly among rural and uninsured women.
